Godric's Office

Rowena placed her hands on either side of his face. "Godric you can tell me anything." She said forcing him to look her in the eyes. "Anything at all."

Godric felt Rowena's warm hands on his face, and without even thinking, he pressed his lips against hers, kissing her passionately. Almost instantly, he pulled back, and his eyes flashed to the floor.

"I'm so sorry..."

Rowena's eyes widened. "Godric... I..." She said trailing off. 'He's playing with me.' She thought sadly. 'He knows I'm in love with him and s now playing with my heart.' Tears began to form in her eyes and she looked anywhere but at him.

"Rowena!" Godric said, shocked, his face filled with horror. "Don't cry...! I'm sorry for kissing you... I was way out of line.. I couldn't control myself.. I should've known you couldn't answer to my feelings..." He trailed off, his eyes filled with pain and fear.

He moved his fingers across her face, wiping the tears away. "I'm sorry. I knew you weren't in love with me. I just had to give it a shot.."

"Are you insane?" Rowena asked seriously. "I've been in love with you since we met! I thought you were playing me or something." She said trailing off and looking away.

"I love you..." Godric said. His eyes were smoldering as he looked at her. "I love you, Rowena."

"Godric I...." Rowena said blushing. "I love you too." She said smiling to herself.

And as she spoke these words, Godric's brain stopped working. He closed his eyes and pressed his lips to Rowena's once again. His hand curled around her neck, pulling her closer, her body pressed against his.

Rowena's eyes widened as his lips touched hers. Letting her eyes flutter closed Rowena melted in to the kiss.

Rowena pulled back slightly before anything progressed. "I love you." She whispered again.

"As I love you." He mumbled against her lips, before melting back into the kiss again. He felt as Rowena took control now, pressing her lips against his more firmly.

Feeling suddenly brave Rowena wrapped her arms firmly around Godrics's neck. Pulling herself closer she blushed at her own straight-forwardness.

Godric's cheeks turned a bright pink, as he felt the kiss deepen. His fingers traced over Rowena's features, as her fingernails dug into the skin of his neck.

Rowena pulled back and placed her forehead to his. "We... We should stop..." She said keeping her eyes closed and hoping he wouldn't take it the wrong way.

Godric felt Rowena pull away, as his arms dropped down from her neck. With a sigh, he listened to her words. She was right, students would be here soon. He only nodded once.

"It's not that I don't want to." Rowena said seriously. "Merlin knows I want to." She whispered. "It's just... The children and..."

"That's what they all say." Godric joked. He grabbed her hand as a sign of understanding. "I love you."

Rowena smiled brightly at him. "I love you too Godric darling."

Godric let his head fall back into his chair, Rowena still on his lap. "You better, Ravenclaw."

Rowena looked around for a second. "Godric..."She said looking back at him. "Where's my boot?" She asked holding out her slender hand for the object in question.

"Err.. good question..." Godric said, as he tried to shove Rowena off his lap. "I think it's somewhere over there." His hands swirled in all directions, a sign of total clueless-ness.

"Well...." Rowena said pulling off her other boot. "There goes my favorite pair of boots." She said sighing.

"You do realize you are a witch, right?" Godric said, his face incredulous. He grabbed his wand, and summoned both boots. "It's called 'Accio'."

"I am aware of that fact." Rowena said with a glare. Snatching the boot out of his hand she attempted to pull herself back on to the desk.

Godric lifted Rowena, without even getting up himself, and placed her gently on the desk. "Want me to help you with those?" He asked, as he pulled the boots out of her hand and put them on her feet.

"T-thank you Godric." Rowena stuttered blushing. smoothing down her dark curls she smiled at him.
