This was the last shop that the brown haired boy had to stop at. Pushing his bangs out of his face he walked inside and looked around. He had saved this shop for very last. Matthias wanted to take his time and enjoy the sight of so many books and smell of vellum, ink, and parchment. He shut his eyes briefly and a smile came to his face. His father's library had also been his favorite part of home. He would choose a book and curl up by the fire to read until he was told off.
His fingers lightly touching the bindings he let just the tips brush the books. He stopped every now and then and would pull a book and carefully flip through it before setting it back on the shelf. Finding his books was no problem and he carried them to the counter. Seeing they fell under a sale he stated, "Hello, ma'am. My purchase falls under the First Year Packet."
